This taco bowl is a fresh and flavorful mix of seasoned ground beef, crisp lettuce, juicy tomatoes, and crunchy Tostito's chips, all tossed with a splash of lemon for a zesty finish. It's a quick, satisfying meal that's perfect for lunch or dinner and easy to customize with your favorite toppings.

Ingredients:

  • half a head of lettuce

  • 1 lbs of lean ground beef

  • 1 tomato

  • 1/2 tbsp lemon juice

  • 1/2 diced onion

  • tostito's chips


Taco Seasoning

  • 1 tsp ground cumin

  • 1 tsp ground chilli

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • 1/2 tsp ground hot pepper

  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano

  • 1/2 tsp salt

Instructions:

  1. Cook the Beef: In a skillet over medium heat, add the diced onion and sauté for 2 minutes. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon.

  2. Season the Meat: Mix together all the taco seasoning ingredients in a small bowl. Sprinkle the seasoning over the cooked beef and stir to coat. Add ¼ cup water and simmer for 3–5 minutes, until the liquid reduces slightly.

  3. Assemble the Bowl: In a large bowl, combine the chopped lettuce, diced tomato, and lemon juice. Add the seasoned beef and toss lightly to combine.

  4. Serve: Put a handful of Tostito's chips on the side of each serving for crunch.

    Optional: Add shredded cheese, sour cream, or salsa if desired.
